Got people coming to view my golf and it decides to play up...help?!
So my car is being a massive pain?! It's up for sale due to the arrival of my scooby, and I've got people who've arranged to come see it tomorrow, so a couple of days ago it decides to labour before starting, it can take one or two goes, or 5 or 6 there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. Doesn't make a difference if its hot or cold, full of fuel or near empty.
Once its started it drives perfectly, smooth and runs as normal without any hiccups so I'm confused as to the cause of the starting issue? Took a video of it one of the times: http://youtu.be/Auqqx9xrTdc I changed the starter motor not that long ago as the one i had was whinning. In the past couple of days have tried changing the fuel filter and fuel pump relay as my best guess has been fuel starvation. Checked the batteries output and its fine, my friends garage put it on a fault code reader and its throwing up low voltage codes anybody got any ideas or similar symptoms..I'm desperate!? Timing couldn't be worse!!! |

won't have glow plugs, as its not a diesel and has spark plugs. |
