Not a problem Angus. Shame the light was against me.
Used approx 200mls of Magifoam and a couple of squirts of Megs Hyper Wash to aid the sud action. It really needed a wash mit after but the light was fading rapido so ended up foaming , dwelling for 10mins and rinsing then pad/wipe drying. Suprised at how much it dragged some of the dirt out even on the lance wound right down to sprinkle levels at times. Hoping to give it going over see on an early morning and even give Adrians 22B a go too. Hope to do a DA course soon too . Got just a few items. But my best products of choice are Blackfire range. Definatly get a DA mate, once you get one youll never do hand polishing again lol Snow foam is a great tool to use but as well as taking off the dirt and loosening stubburn dirt it also takes off any wax and protection too, what lance did you use mate, have to have a play and see how thick you can get it

That's the great thing with the new generation Karchers.
The bottle on the back can feed a smidge of another product on top of the snowfoam, which enriches and thickens it, allowing better dwell time |

I'm just using megs Hyperwash with a splash of gold class in the foam lance get great foam and the wax is left pretty much intact, it's time for me to do the pre winter clean on mine so expect more foam action soon!

Although to a degree, each and every wash of the car even using PH Neutral products will have a small effect on the wax layer on your car but generally using a good snow foam or wash products is not seen to be the biggest factor in a wax being removed or degrading because of it.... |

See above a good snow foam will not remove wax!

It all depends on the type of snow foam, what you mix with it, how thick you leave it on for and what ph level it is. Ph neutral snow foam is less harsh and is designed not to eat into the softer paints.
Snow foam is a pre cleaner designed to lift away light dirt and soften harsh and baked on contaminates prior to cleaning to save rd's and swirls when you wash and polish further on down the line, If you use any snow foam on its own then it will remove wax and any protection as thats what its designed to do, unless mixed with other products, even then it will still remove some wax. Its not designed to replace normal washmitt and shampoo treatment.

Us chaps always use a Neutral PH Snowfoam, it just makes sense to do so IMHO.
Like Andy said, it is merely a pre-treatment to loosen contaminates and general grime. This should always be followed up with a full mitt wash with shampoo and and whatever other processes you want to include. |

My car was already clean when we did this... It had been fully cleaned the week before and then covered, why there isnt any before and after pics
we just wanted to see if the foam removed any crap we couldnt see after being off the road at SRR for nearly 5 months

The foam will only drag the surface dirt off to help prevent damage when washing. The best for removing unseen dirt/contaminants is a clay bar. Love the thinkness of the foam you got.
