The md321h & sc40 are much the same
No need for injectors or a front mount .
Although a fmic would help

Agree with CJ. I found the 321H a great turbo with lag very similar to standard, but with much more oomph

The 555 is a bit pricey compared to the SC36 and SC38.

The SC36 is £795.
The SC38 is £975.
The MD555-400 is £1050. (Turbo Dynamics)
The SC42 is £1295.
The MD321H is £1674 single scroll, £1974 Twin Scroll. (Lateral Performance)

Is there really that much difference, other than power output, between them?

Ah right, didn't know VAT had to go on as well! No wonder they seem so much cheaper! Thanks Jura.
