check engine light....

please can someone shed some light on problem i have with my scooby,

she is a 98 2000turbo, uk model, and over the last week or so my 'check engine' light keeps turning on now and then, its doesnt really stay light up for long, maybe 30 secs to 2 mins then goes off again and will then come back on a while after or maybe a day so later.

not sure why, except being scared obviously, check all my fluids and they all seem ok but can someone explain more if possible....

I may be wrong but I had this issue on my evo 2 and it was the maf sensor, may be worth a wiggle to make sure its on tight or a clean up?!

you need to sort a diagnostic check and work from there, no good just trying to guess.........most likely something very straight forward

Your working in the dark without knowing what the error code is.
