Default Agreed value

Just a couple of quick questions for the experts. I was thinking of an agreed valuation policy for the wr1, so in the event of the worst I don't get offered 5k. Is it worth it? And do you provide one?
And secondly, someone drove into my car and drove off a few months back. I haven't actually made a claim as I'm awaiting the results of the court case for liability reasons. Will this affect any future policy, and where do I stand with changing companies if I do put in a claim?

Technically you have to disclose any incident when getting a quote.

We can do agreed value policies, but most of the insurers we use offer very good prices and appreciate what the car is, so you probably wouldn't need an agreed value one anyway.

Thanks moley, hopefully it'll be sorted before I do my renewal. On one of the comparison sites last night, they automatically valued my car at £4k! You'd struggle to get a rough example for double that. I'll be in touch in a couple of weeks to see what you can do for me. Thanks again.
