Thumbs up Octane Boost

James mentioning octane boost in another thread has got me thinking.

Is it worth looking into making a bulk buy of octane boost for the Ring Trip?

If you think you would be interested in being part of this, please add your name to the list below. If we get enough interest we can have a look into what we can do, I was thinking about going for Millers, unless someone has an alternative

Having asked the question to Peter this morning, he has come back with these details on a bulk buy we can do.

I have a list of prices from Peter, for 1, 2 & 3 cases (of 24)

To see Peters reply, please visit the thread below and let me know what you think.

So will 300ml be per tank and adds 3ron? If we put euopean 99 and add 3 ron will this be safe?
Sorry for being thick, I just want to add what's needed with minimum fuss but that makes the car run right with no det

You will need to buy twice as much this year Mr Hongkong with all your horses.
To be honest mate we should only be using it for track or getting caught out as Anger did. The euro 99 is meant to be the same as the UK 99. If we stick to the Shell petrol we should be ok.

I'm getting a wideband put in mine which should allow the Syvecs to alter fuelling and cope with as low as 95 Ron at a push.

Have posted about NF on the other thread.
One bottle lasts a long time as you just add a shot per tank full (not a full bottle).

Applications
  • Adding 2ml per litre of fuel will give a 2-RON increase, which equates to approximately one-third of a bottle per tank of fuel.
  • For higher horse-power engines, add 3ml per litre of fuel to give a 3-RON increase, which equates to approximately half-bottle per tank of fuel.
  • For maximum benefit, add 5ml per litre of fuel to increase the octane level by up to 6-RON.

One point to remember guys, apart from around the Nurburgring itself, where you can buy lots of high Ron Rated Fuels.

V Power in Mainland Europe is NOT always 99 ron as it is here. It can vary between 97 & 99. I personally would not go without at least 3 - 4 bottles under my belt.

So guys, from the look of things, Millers is the one of choice.

I will get in touch with Alyn to see what he can do price wise.

I will be placing the order with Alyn today for 40 bottles

Worzel x 10
Nige x 10
StevePPP x 4
Kongkongfooi x 3
Anger x 5
Nick x 5

=37 bottles

I will have the extra 3 if no one wants to have them. Then sell them at vastly inflated rates in Germany

Updated! ORDERED!

I have been meaning to post this for days now

Below is the invoice for the Millers Octane Boost.

The total price per bottle is £4.75 (£10.00 or 25p per bottle added for delivery to me)

Amounts to pay next time I see you are as follows:

I have had 10 bottles @ £47.50
Nige x 10 @ £47.50
StevePPP x 4 @ £19.00
Kongkongfooi x 3 @ £14.25
Anger x 5 @ £23.75
Nick x 5 @ £23.75

There are 3 bottles left over, I am more than happy to have them, but if anyone wants to up their order, please let me know.

Cheers Y'all
