Default Jap Performance Parts RB25 RWD Impreza

Hi Guys
I just wanted to post an update after our first season racing the RWD Impreza with a Nissan Skyline engine. The car is a complete mix of parts (RB25 engine and gearbox, Silvia rear end, GDB hubs and suspensions, Evo bumpers) and 2010 was a real test to see if the concept would work....IT DID! The car did 3 UK rounds, Belarus and Dubai.

Some of you may have seen it at Jap Bash, unfortunately we were only there for a short time. We hope to bring it more local events in support of local clubs this year.

Here is a link to our first video - off season report by Dan Joyce.

For those who want to see how we did it..here is a link to the whole story from the day we drove in a perfectly clean v4 type R

We are rebuilding the car to be even wider and run more power this year

Saj

Unfortunatly Modified Live clashes with Round 4 of JDM All Stars in Anneau Du Rhin, France on June 24/25th.

And at this moment in time the car is making it's way to Malta for Round 3 on the 10-12th June.

However we will be competing at Donington Park on 15-17th July and the Wembley street curcuit on the 16-17th September.

Regarding shows this year, we will try and get to as many as possible with the Subaru Drift car and Jap Performance Carbon Evo X.

I'll post up some of the upto date 2011 photos later.

It's been on a strict diet over the winter months, mainly consisting of steroids...

These photos are from the Japfest Extreme Team Drift event held at Castle Coombe.

As you can see the rear end has been made much wider to house the wider wheels and 50mm spacers either side.

In it's first run at Japfest it managed to shear a drive shaft due to the new rear ARB causing too much tracion, this was then replaced and the ARB removed to later bring an overall win alongside Ryan and Brad Hacker.
