The Red Arrows were amazing, they seemed to be inch perfect on all the manoeuvres, think they must of been taking tips from the Wagon Squadron

Indeed it (they) did Scott!

All produced, in duplicate, by our Senior Formation Manoeuvre Technician "Chocks" Chockington, who slaved away fine-tuning and fiddling like a fine-tuner and fiddler would.

He has brought new meaning to the word "rumbold" by his efforts!

He is likely to receive a promotion for all his hard work and devotion to duty!

Thumbs up

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.... ABSOLUTLEY... LADIES AND GENTLEMEN …. THIS COMMENTATOR NEEDS A CUP OF TEA!…. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…. ABSOLUTLEY"

A top day with a cracking car and aircraft display. The ‘Silver Arrows’ AMG Merc’s were fantastic along with the Typhoon, Vulcan and 'Red Arrows', which were awesome. The Wgn Sqn crew were not bad either

Shame we all shivered for most of the day... and Steve ...how did you get through the day with just your SES polo and shorts on?

Arrived at 07:50 and departed 08:10... 12 hours of fun and laughter. Roll on JapBash!

Mate, I was still cold when I got home at 8.30. That was with having the heated seat on full blast and the heater set to "tropical".

I don't know how but i managed to miss you lot! I couldn't get parked up with the TVR lot as they didn't have enough room to fit me on the end which meant i had to park in the field where an unfriendly ditch decided to remove my front splitter for me. Grrrrrr..... Great day though! Shame about the weather.

Done a dozen pics quickly chaps, will do some more later with some luck.

Right then, I'll start with one I am really chuffed with, just because it was difficult to get. The DB9 was flat out and the Tiger Moth had just lifted off. the speed difference was about 80mph and got them both in the shot and pretty clear.

Then we have some various pics. Starting with the Wagon Squadron and one of the Vulcan.

Good to meet you Rich (NorthDownsScooby). Thanks for coming over to see us. We used to have a Forester Gunship in the Squadron a few years back, run by a Guy called Smiler Miles who graduated up from an "estate" to take on those "tougher" Squadron roles!!!

Here he is with his first Estate (and wife)

And with his blue classic Estate (at Dunsfold)

And finally with his heavily modified Gunship

Regrettably, Smiler Miles is MIA after being shot down by the Mitsubishi......................

A "special event" will therefore be planned to celebrate the eventual return of Trails' Wagon to operational duty Chaps and Chapesses!!

It's organising the Vulcan flypast that is going to prove the difficult bit!!
