bleeding brakes

I am hope to change my calipers tomorrow from 2 pot to 4 pot.Any tips would be helpful.
When bleeding them after fitting do i need to bleed the whole system or can i just do the fronts(i am not realy touching the rears at the moment).
Also should i top the brake fluid up with 4 dot or 5.1 dot (i did read somewhere that 4 dot was better for more everyday use)

If your not touching the rears then don't need to bleed them as long as the fluid dosen't run out in the reservior (but won't do you any harm bleeding the whole system as brake fluid is hydroscopic), just bleed the fronts starting furthest away from the master cylinder.
Fluid depends what you have in the system already, DOT4 being normal, would stick with DOT4 unless your doing track days etc then change the whole system to DOT5.1 as if has a higher boiling point.

personally its "best practise" to check/bleed the rears as often even though untouched because of the linked systems you can often get a small amount of air in the system
