Default Rally car Experience at Brands Hatch

Went to Brands Hatch on Sat for a Rally Car Experience session. Car was a Peugeot 205, 150 .bhp, hydraulic handbrake, very close ratio box,2 bucket seats and a roll cage.A quick briefing and then out. They have 2 circuits, 1 gravel and tarmac the other mainly gravel.Awesome fun,you are marked down if you are to gently with the car.Great instructor who introduced me to using the handbrake to get around bends faster.Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a few mental hours in a car.

My instructor on Monday was talking to me about this as he is involved with the rally side of things too. It sounds fantastic!

Went to Phil Price Rally School (in Welsh Wales) last weekend. Bit more expensive than Brands Hatch, but a full day of rallying on gravel in Mk.II Escorts and a Scoob.

Had a stupid grin on my face throughout of the day and I now badly want a Mk.II!

22B is still top of the want list: the Mk. II has jumped up several places though!

Well I'm glad you cleared that up as I might of confused it with Scottish or Irish or English Wales
