Default SES Ring Trip, 27th - 30th May 2011

Right then folks. The time has now arrived to book this years SES Ring Trip.

The dates & times for this years trip will be from Friday 27th May - Monday 30th May (bank holiday Monday). On the past Ring trips, we have caught the 8.00am ferry from Dover - Dunkirk on the Friday morning and got the 7.00pm return ferry on the Monday evening. This will be confirmed shortly.

The room costs have just been confirmed by Jacqueline at the Hotel and are as follows:

11 standard double/twin rooms 72,00 Euros the night with breakfast (3 nights @ 216 Euros)

5 comfort double/twin rooms 82,00 Euros the night with breakfast (3 nights @ 246 Euros) All these rooms are now taken

And 3 single rooms 50,00 Euros the night with breakfast (3 nights @ 150 Euros)

Triple rooms if required. They cost 108,00 Euros the night with breakfast (3 nights @ 324 Euros) If we have 3 singles bloke that don't mind sharing this is only 36 Euro per night,as opposed to 50 euros for 1 x single room!

This year we are insisting on a deposit of £36.00 (approx half cost of one nights stay) which is NON REFUNDABLE. This will be payable at the in February. Jacqueline has asked for us to book the rooms by end of February, anyone who wants to come should get their names on the list before this time to guarantee a room at "Niges Palace"

With regards getting your names onto the list for this years trip. Please use your User name as the first name on the list, followed by your full name and name of every person travelling in your party, then finally your room choice. I will start the list below so you can see what I mean. Please copy and paste the list below and add your details at the bottom of the list.

If anyone has any information to put up about the ring trip that has nothing to do with this list, please start another thread, as this thread can get quite confusing with other random items posted. Cheers to you all, heres looking forward to a safe, enjoyable and dry weekend in May!

I spent only sleeping time in my room, so even a tent would do me

You wouldn't hear the snoring and farting in a tent either!

FYI

Myself & the old boy will be attending.
We are sailing Tuesday 25th and returning Wed 1st June so we can get a few practice laps in before you guys arrive.
We have already reserved a room at Auntie Jaqs place.
Look forward to seeing you there.

If it is busy over the weekend I will not be doing too much driving so I will be offering my services as an instructor FOC to all.

Not sure what happened to Clive, I was looking forward to further updates on the P2 Project.
Clive's still about, he updates plenty of threads on Scoobynet - just guess he's not been on here too much lately.

There is a BMW museum close to the Ring might be worth a visit
If we went beer tasting Worzel & Crowman would never get on the track & may not even make it back to the hotel

Beer tasting Koblenz is less than an hour away too on the Rhein - might be worth visiting?
