Cat repelent
Wonder if anyone knows if there is something I can use to spray on my car that won't kill my wax and stuff.
The problem I have is my cat and possibly others jump onto my bonnet etc and its causing some really nasty scratches on my bodywork. Needless to say I dont want to get the air rifle out to get them off lol. |

Especially if you hurl the whole bag at them

anything citrus flavoured will discourage cats from going near - orange/lemon juice etc. you'll have a fruity smelling scoob tho
otherwise, there are those high pitch sound generator thingys, but younger people can still hear them, annoying things. |

Dogs work quite well, ours love to chase any cat that comes near the place.

As for citric acid and such, not sure wax or polish would like that much. |

put a bin next to your car, an older woman will come along at some point and drop the cat in there for you

I know how you feel. My Mum's cats would always jump on my car and lay on the bonnet where the scoop is and the windscreen.
Not much you can do. The heat of the engine and so on will still attract them. Even if you use a lot of protection like wax of sealent the cats will still bugger it up. Where is the car kept? If in a driveway you could use a light bed sheet but this can be time consuming after a whiel and also in the summer will make your car sweat loosing the protection etc. Tricky one. Steve
