Default Remap tuesday, turbo advice.

Hello, need some advice from someone in the know, I have bought tony's old turbo, which is VF24, ball bearing, and a few bits which have been done to it.
Question is, when mapping will it need a different pill in it, or will the one i have be ok? Or will it be ok for him to take it out.?
Cheers

The mapper should have a selection of pills. Normally reduce the standard TD04 pill size down to 1mm, but if your pill is the genuine VF24 then it may need increasing as they run a smaller pill 0.9mm IIRC.

You would be suprised the difference 0.1mm makes

If it were me I would put one of my own pills in to start and not take for granted what or if one is in there to start with.
You can waste too much time setting/mapping the boost only to find the pill is effecting everything regardless of ECU settings.

If your switching to a 3-port then no pill and slightly different plumbing.

Ok cool, the pill is still the standard td04.
I still want to put foot down to see the boost, but to scared. will the pill mess things up?
I might just get a dawes device, for now.
