Default Hi-boost

I've just taken my scooby for abit of a blast along the bypass and decided to set it on hi-boost, when accelerating it boosted very hard as it should but in 3rd gear it lacked on abit of power at about 5000rpm then done the same thing again in 4th gear, it doesn't do this on low boost, anyone know what would cause this? Thanks

Could be down to fuel? Is your car mapped for 97 or 99ron? Might be as simple as bad fuel but to be fair I don't know much about anything really so best to just ignore me probably.

Havnt a clue? Apparently it's been chipped to run on 97/99 fuel which I always put in, I never noticed it do it before but I hardly ever run it on hi boost, it doesn't seem to do it in 2nd?

What year is the car.
If 1994-1996 sounds like coil pack failure.
Weak spark is being blown out by the higher boost.

thats if it's just a miss

if you have to peal your face off the steering wheel, it will be fuel cut / boost cut protection.

1.1bar is v close to the fuel cut limit onthe earlier cars.

Yeah it's a 94, coil packs were done fairly recently, it doesn't loose loads of power just has a bit of a brief flat spot if that makes sense?
