Default Early xmas pressie

No, not a new car but still.... this canvas print was delivered the other day:

House has been moving along nicely so getting to the point of wanting some stuff to hang on all the empty walls! This one is 100x75cm on a 4cm frame, so pretty chunky... Soon to be hung on the study wall.

Was taken in April 2013 at Goodwood by Tony Gardner and he was good enough to send me hi-res copies at the time... never done anything with them until now.

Thanks guys

Got another one on the way which is 120x60cm, featuring a nice scenic view of the Moselle which will hopefully look nice in the lounge.

What a cracking picture. We are looking to get some canvases done for home. Was going to be primarily of kids, but you've given me a great idea!

That looks the nuts! I'm hoping to get a few canvas prints done for the house when we near completion, decent ones look really smart.

Cheers mate, i've used http://www.my-picture.co.uk/ for these as i've been catching some decent offers via email (spam) so decided to give them a try. The one of the scoob was £20 + £5 postage and a few extra quid to have it on a more sturdy 4cm frame over the standard 2cm one. Pretty good price wise.

But I'm reserving overall judgement.... turns out they are made and shipped from Germany (despite the .co.uk website) via UPS's budget service, so no signature needed. The scoob one was left outside my house as nobody was home (luckily it didn't rain) but the printing is spot on. The other one of the Moselle I ordered was slightly marked on arrival and the printing was a bit dark. But to be fair, I emailed them with a couple of snaps and they replied saying they'll re-print it and ship for free and asked me to chuck this one out.... we'll see how that turns up in a day or too....

£20 for that size? Bloody hell, that's a really good price: some places I've looked at are charging more than £20 for 6" x 4"canvas!

Yeah that's why I went with them, the pricing was silly cheap compared to some sites. Once you order your first item, they spam you with email offers containing even better pricing to keep you coming back... today's email is a 80x60cm for £19

This is the other one i've got on the way... 120x60cm. Found it on istockphoto in super-hi-res and Claire has an account being a graphic designer

Granby/Rob/Ryan might recognise the hairpins on the right side of the photo from our little drive out this year, the spot we stopped at to watch the storm is the top hairpin

Photo looks great as is the price. Had a look at the website and all seems straight forward. Do you just upload photos in their original format?, max pixels I guess.

Yep. Bigger the image the better for large prints though, so just use some high quality jpgs.

I do indeed recognise it - although I seem to remember it looking a lot less "peaceful" with that monster thunder storm heading over!

Great pic though

Yeah, that is silly cheap! Will definitely be placing an order (or two) with them, I really want some prints up in the house!
