car sealant
recently had my rear arch rust sorted, and its back already. to cut a long story short, the nob that did the work says he told me it would come back when he didnt.
anyway, I can weld and I know I can butcher some front wings to make repair panels for the back but I will need to find where water is getting in and seal it. so what is that rubberised car sealant crap called that they use on internal body seams? i need to know what it's called so I can find some on ebay |

If you had the rear arch sorted recently I'd take it back and get him to do it again!!!
Clearly didn't cut it all out the first time round so it needs sorting, I wouldn't be worrying about the sealant just yet.

nah, he didn't cut any out.
the convo went:- "How much to sort the rust on the rear arches" "£150" and that was it. Ive used him before and his work was fine so I didn't question it. he says he told me the rust would come back so he's not sorting it. i'm gonna get some front wings to make repair panels and do the welding and base filler myself. I just need to find out what sealant is used to seal around inside so it doesn't happen again. I'll get someone else to do the paintwork this time |
