Default My 2006 STI widetrack ppp so far

Few pics of the progress on me Scoob.
So what Have I done so far.
Well quite a bloody lot actually lol.

The car came with a full Vortex exhaust and HKS panel filter, Junsport front lower grill and apart from the springs and wheels is totally standard.

First pic I took.
Lowered on Eibach springs and Dotz GTR alloys in Anthracite.

Added HID light kit

Lower front lip added.

Attacked the interior by adding a new touchscreen head unit and re coloured the centre console to a black finish like the S203/204 Impreza, finished off with a JDM hazard light switch.
Note the original Lamco guages

Decided to de-badge the grill, fairly straight forward although this pic does not do it much justice will take some better shots of the whole car when the weather gets better

Primer with badge ground out

On the car

Next as the rear shock suffered with the dreaded knocking I fitted some Tein street Advanced coilovers and lowered the ride height a bit further.
Removed the mudflaps.

Fitted smoked side repeaters.
I also decided I wanted to remove all the STI decals and badges from the fog lamp covers, boot lid and front doors and give it the cleaned look and decided to treat her to some new rims and tyres so went for XXR 527's 18x8.75 ET35 in Chrome/black and wrapped them in some Toyo Proxes T1R tyres keeping to the same size of 225/40/18 so a slight stretched look, I also fitted some rear Eibach camber bolts to give it a little neg camber so the should not rub!

So that is pretty much all I will be doing to it, maybe get some better gauges and get it mapped, thanks for reading!

Roll on the better weather
Simon

Still proceeding to empty my wallet I have done the following since the last update

Flaps back off lol!
Full Goe set up at Abbey motorsport.
Cosworth panel filter
HT auto's side skirts and rear spats
Powder coated the XXR's white!
Rear window decal.
2006- Hawkeye cherry red STI boot badge.
Just finished the "blobeye dark headlight" mod (pic soon)
Intercooler cover painted black and added the STI logo

Also treated her to a full paint correction and detail

Think I may "tickle" the engine next once my bank manager starts talking to me again lol.

Thanks man!

Tickle probably means bigger turbo, injectors, pump and map and see how we get on with that
Won't be until next year though!

Car looks very good, but why did you take the mudflaps off? Have fitted them to my STi and do a great job plus look ok.

Thanks bud.

As you can see the car originally came with blue Prodrive ones and personally never liked them so decided to take them off. Then I got scared of the paintwork getting marked so bought the Rally Armor UR ones in black!
Liked them for about a week and decided on the look of the car I wanted meant they had to go! The car does not even see rain let alone mud so taking my chances

So it's almost time to get the Scooby out of winter hibernation and get the show season under way and in true I can't help spending money" fashion a few more things been added to the money pit lol.

Decided to ditch the XXR's and go all out on a set of Enkei RPF1

Fitted a H&S decat downpipe so it's even nosier now lol, remap booked in for first week of April.

I have also splashed out on Godspeed hook discs and PF pads so will fitting them over the next few weekends, coupled with HEL braided lines so a nice braking upgrade.

Also on the menu pro-sport boost and temp gauges.

So having decided to upgrade the discs and pads and having an utter mare of a time with snapped bolts, bleed nipples etc I decided to go all out and just get the calipers re-manufactured.
Went for a different shade to the OEM Brembo gold and black decals

Also took her to Duncan @ Racedynamix who remapped it to a fairly respectable 338hp / 340ftlbs, not too bad for a exhaust and panel filter + 3 port. Has made a difference over the Prodrive map for sure!

Finally treated her to another correction / detail ready for the show season.
