As I looked on nervously, I'm sure I heard the following:

"It's OK, he's a noob, ask him where the oscillating flange is and see if he knows if the dipstick's been remapped"

LOL. I am somewhat of an expert on the old rematting front. In fact, I rematted mine today. Couldnt help but notice that the mat had gone a little flat in places and just didn't seem to pull (when hoovered) properly....

.....I guess you had to be there
