Default some toys past & present

seems most people have a few pics on here so thought i would share some "history"

one the numerous leggy turbo's - mildly modded to around 280+ (enough to scare a few unsuspecting WRX/STi's)

a previous service van and a now (fatally) retired rally car

the wifes run around

and my current steed (hate to say i prefer to most of the cars )

not guilty your honour, it was not me i was simply servicing..................
to be fair he was beating a lot of far better spec stuff and was probs trying a wee bit too hard to make the next step, placings wise, on a quite fast extremely wet/icy stage..........connected with a large section of Armco at around 80-100ish........

not too many straight panels left when he stopped !!

Alyn,
What spec/power is the VW?
What do you think of it? Towed with it?

A mate has sold his Chevy Day van and is looking for one of these as a van come camper/tow car.

its a t5 170bhp 2.5 (long wheel base version)..........tows around 2.2-2.5ton legally and will simply rattle along at 70 towing (i know a few peeps that easily exceed this) without issue up or down dale
tow both a large twin axle caravan and a twin axle car trailer and it just gets on with it - best thing i have owned!!
only minor issue is you struggle to get much better than 30-35ish mpg or around 25-30 towing / to be jhonest i can live with that for the performance it has will happily sit with any m/way traffic and a lot get i the way

got a radial f/end to go on and a few tweaks over the winter hopefully

Yeah i know those bikes are mean... I have a K2 750 rizzla, had it yoshi box'd etc via carbon tech Also went for 2 teeth up on the rear sprocket and one down on the front so the front feels very light when giving it some... ... Lovely bike's they are. And in that shape they are quicker then the 1k's.. Have always been a Suzuki fan...

Thanks, just the details I was looking for, I'll pass it on.

He's replacing an Mitsi L200 Animal, so a hard act to follow for towing!

bruv had a few L200's and find this better, he also has a Shogun DI-D and fairly sure it would be very capable of heavier stuff (as the Shogun is) if it was higher plated legally
only downside (where the Shogun comes into Its own) is the lack of traction when the weather is ****ty - have had the Shogun attached to a Transit stuck in a field up to its axles (complete with rally car and trailer) and simply towed the whole rig out

I managed to tow out a 7.5 tonne recovery truck from a grassy wet field.....up hill!!!!!!!!
Not bad for my 20 year old Discovery 200TDI
(I did have to snatch it to get it moving though!!)

I don't think Mike will have a problem with traction. He'll just dig out his 6 wheeled Range Rover or his V8 Series 1 Land Rover if the weathers that bad
