All depends what you want to spend! I've got a £30 set of vibes in the bugeye running off the OE stereo for now, the speakers are properly installed and actually don't sound too bad.

The forester on the other hand now has the CTD speakers from the bugeye these retail at around £300 and are running off a JL Audio amp supplied by a Kenwood DNX unit along with the JL Audio sub the sound quality is exceptional especially as these are again properly installed.

The biggest factor in car speakers is the sensitivity (how easy they are to drive) especially if you are not amping them and the quality of the install - see this thread for how mine are installed in the forester and the Bugeye http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...5&postcount=21
