Default My local shell is no longer

Guess I will have to go a little further now .

o a little further, continue to earn.

Dear Martyn Chapman-Smith,

As a valued member of Shell Drivers’ Club, we would like to inform you that the Shell Service Station at High Street, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 5DL will cease to be part of the Shell network from 05.01.2012. From this date, you will no longer be able to collect Shell Drivers’ Club points there.
*
But don’t worry - you still won’t have far to go to refuel with Shell and be able to continue collecting Shell Drivers’ Club points. The nearest alternative Shell Service Station(s) are:
*
5 Lewes Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH17 7SE
Station Road, Durgates, Wadhurst, East Sussex, TN5 6RP
*

You can also find other Shell Service Stations in your area using our helpful Shell Service Station Locator. *
*
We look forward to seeing you soon.

Shell Drivers’ Club

there's an android/iphone app for Shell that tells you where your nearest shell garage is at any point, quite handy on long journeys

If only, can you imagine the queue of scoobs and evos!

Just spotted something funny when typing evos on the iPad, the spell check tries to change it to "egos"

Don't mean to pry in In on This thread.
Just wanted to ask what you lot think is best bp or shell?
I dont use a particular retailer all I do Is just use the most expensive fuel when I'm in whatever garage I'm in.

Strange, assume its not making enough cash there or the tanks need major £££ spent on them and Shell cannot be assed....

I'm lucky in burgess hill too, got 3 shells within 10 minute drive

i'm due to go over to Co Waterford in a few months (Where the mrs is from) so what garages do 97ron over there ? will be handy to have a garage name to keep an eye out for

I did plan to fill up before we got the ferry, drive to her parents and then not use the car till we was due to come back cuz I heard you could only get 95ron over there. if i can get 97 ron though i'll bring some octane booster so I can still use the car

I normaly get my car mapped on 97ron I know this is not good to get max performance on the rollers. However it should help if I can't get 99ron at some point. What do you mappers reckon is best?

The Wigmore [Kent] station shut this year not a major problem as there is one in Gillingham.
One on the A25 outside of Maidstone has also shut.
I use there site for station location, before I do a long trip.

nearly most petrol stations sells 95ron

youl need to be on the lookout for either maxol for e5= 99ron
or texaco with tecron for 97ron

Godstone is only for use if you are absolutely desperate as its always more expensive there! (You forgot Sanderstead and Addington as well! )

I've got a V-Power finder for my TomTom. Brilliant add on and its actually more accurate than Shell's own station finder!

Luckily I have one at the bottom of my road, but if that shut, then its preston park, brighton, which would be a nightmare.
