Default Knock readings

I've been doing some logging on the Bugeye to check all is well before booking in for a re-map with Duncan and have noticed that my Cylinder 3 Knock readings are far higher than 1, 2, & 4.

Would a faulty injector cause this?

not experienced in this, but possibly a weaker flow to that injector on the fuel rail? if injector ok, maybe can tweek injector timing for that cylinder?

Plug or coil pack issue?

I was thinking injector, as the fuel rails are parallel so flow should be ok. I'm not sure how Syvecs works out the knock strategy per cylinder from one sensor anyway!

Syvecs probably ties the firing order into the voltage received by the knock sensor.
Without listening with det cans it would be difficult to tell if it is actually knocking or not.

Knock readings are only as good as the calibration of the sensor.

If the logging you are seeing it there all of the time or gradually increasing with rpm then it isn't knock. Just some form of background noise.

You should see a steady increase in level as the rpm increases. If this suddenly jumps up to a much bigger number, then this is knock.
The hot spot for knock is 4800rpm - 5400rpm, which corresponds to peak torque/engine load and hence where timing needs to be most retarded.
You can start to advance the timing again after this period.

Pretty sure it's not actually knock based on your post Scott, I'll post a graph later but guess it's due to the location of the sensor then?
