Default High clutch pedal advice needed

Hi all ive recently fitted a new clutch to my 03 wrx as when i got it the biting point was high i fitted a excedy kit from as Preformance but the biting point is still very high id say about 3 1/4 of the way up its not slipping at all just very high i also noticed the friction plate in the original clutch i removed had very little if any wear to it ive adjusted the pedal bit it has made no difference any ideas on what would cause this im thinking mabey the flywheel has been skimmed too much or the clutch arm is bent i was just after a second opinion before i take the gearbox off again anyone ever had this problem before ?

Had this on al clutches I've done on the imprezas mate, (only done 4 though) all the biting points seem to be relatively high compared to most cars, must be a subaru thing. Could never get the biting point any lower on any of them.

Just had mine done as well chap. Feels spot on and bite point is probably only marginally better than when it was nacked. Agreed with Dan, think its just the way it is.

ensure your slave cylinder is bled correctly and the pedal adjusted so that there is 5-10mm free play at the top of the stroke.........

highly unlikely to be any issue internally
