Default possible engines

hey guys i know that your all thinking ohhhhh nicky shut up.... but im bitching about my engine and was wondering if a 98 or 99 impreza engine would fit like for like in my 94?

nope not a stright swap as the inlet manafold stud pattern are diffrent

and different bolts in the bellhousing..
i changed a 93 into a another 93 and the cam and crank sensors were different,
so many changes on the engines

the 98-99 engines have 8 bell houseing bolt were as your MY94 ty752 gearbox has 4 bell houseing bolts (not a problem) Theres no reason why you cant put your heads on a later engine thou you would have to swap a few things over.

thank you!! i think its back to the drawing board to just have the piston sorted then untilll i have all the money for a rebuild

up to 1998 (v4 cars) will fit with a simple manifold swap) its the later 99 (v5) and newer cars that cause head-aches............
having said that we have done manifold adaptors to convert early engines to later manifolds and vice-versa..........
