Default Intake flutter?

hi guys and girls.
Just had the STI on the rollers for a map tweak and now I'm hearing very audible turbo flutter, performance is fine though.
Is this normal?
It has a panel filter and I removed the inner wing snorkle some time ago.
I think I remember hearing Dave's one similar although mine is not running that sort of power (340hp)

Cheer
Simon

When does it flutter on boost or lift off?

The VF's can flutter, more so at part throttle than full throttle. Mines quite loud running 1.45bar peak and about 1.1 at part throttle. It's been doing it 12 years.

It's compressor stall as the turbo generated more air than the engine is consuming, so it backs up in the turbo to inlet path.

Thanks Scott.
it's on part throttle and full throttle but would make sense.
Just panicking thinking something is wrong lol
I may take you out in Scott on the next meet just so you can hear it if you don't mind?
Cheers
Simon
