Default Tyres

So came of the ferry yesterday with a 2 hour drive home in torrential rain, lots of standing water on empty French roads. By far the wettest conditions I've had in the new car. Fairly fast drive as keen to get home and have to say tyres were absolutely rubbish in the wet. Constant battle to keep it on the road. Still have the tyres that came with the car, Bridgestones I think, and they still have plenty of tread. Always had Eagle F1s on my old Scoob, which performed great in the wet. Time to get them changed I think.

The Rainsport3's are great tyres, a lot of the Clio boys use them as wet weather track tyres.

I've got a set on my Golf and really rate them

My STI came on Bridgestones when I bought it, after 3 near misses I threw them in the bin and switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, can't recommend them enough.
