Default pentax kx question

i need bit of advice please guys and gals i have a very old but good pentax slr with a few lenses and i hear that these should cross over onto dslr pentax but do any of you have any experience with the kx ? its a good price and i think good features but advice would be greatly appreciated

I have never had any dealings with Pentax.

It looks pretty good though and you don't get TIPA awards for nothing

I would check about the lenses though. It's not always a given that they will transfer to DSLR. Also, not knowing the spec of your film SLR, will they be suitable with a CMOS Sensor?

Give Park Camera's a call, write down the lens specs you have and they will be able to confirm. For the price of a call, it's worth a check.

just dont know what to do steve other option is one of the small body dslr and sell the old slr

Thats typical, I was editing on the fly then and updated.

Even if only one of your lenses is compatible, it might be worthwhile doing it.

that's true mate i will give park a call and see if its compatible did see you driving up crow hill other week love the look of the scoob think your a trend setter !!

It's worth it I think. If none are compatible, the world is then your oyster. There are some great bundle packages about at the moment.
