Default A very, very bad day

Yesterday afternoon my pride and joy was totally destroyed by fire. After months upon moths of collecting parts, having brackets powder coated, fitting stainless steel bolts everywhere, brand new turbo, full de-cat, Blitz exhaust, all new hoses etc etc....Was the day of final completion as i was having it re-mapped, it went up in flames. Was pretty frightening as we only just got out in time. (sorry Scott for ruining your day!) So at the moment i am completely numb, hasn't quite sunk in yet i don't think, but glad that we were all alright!

Here are some quite nasty pictures of what she looks like now and whilst she was on fire.

Default A very very bad day

A braided fuel line burst spraying fuel out through the mesh of the hose. Unfortunatly my fire extinguisher wasn't big enough.

Hi Martyn,
Well I hope you can put this day behind you, and start to think about more positive things soon.
I know it's hard and I know I have been having moments of staring into space since yesterday. Talking about it and sharing it should help settle things.

It was a big shock to all involved and does make you stop and think how easy these things can happen.

Don't worry about ruining my day, what I lost was peanuts compared to your pride and joy.
