Default Low flying fighter jet

Every month or so here in Normandie we have a couple of Mirage(I think) fighter jets chasing each other. This morning they flew right over the house whilst I was in the garden, really low, could clearly see all the markings. Quite impressive.

I remember growing up as a kid seeing similar things in mid-Sussex - late 80s, early 90s i guess. Never these days though.

Although there must be a military flight path between two bases (or something) near me, we regularly get Chinooks passing east-west just to the south of Burgess Hill in the evenings - normally just after dark. I live on the very southern side of town so hear and see them clearly. Very low, probably 300-500 feet as they don't pass over houses...

I had these flying over me last week as they tried to control the wild fires in the surrounding hills to where we were staying.

We were out on a boat trip the day after they started and we watched 3 of them scooping up the sea water and then dropping it up in the hills.

It had made for an interesting sunset the evening before

Would think they were Mirage or Rafale.

I spent a day at the Mach Loop in Wales last year before doing a stage of Rally GB, hoping to see some of this...

...but instead I just saw a lot of rain and clouds: view was nice though!

There were several sheep in the vicinity, but I didn't get close enough to ascertain their sexiness.
