Default New Shocks

Fitted a 2nd hand set of KYB Adjustables to the Scoob over the last couple of weekends. Fronts have 4 settings, rears 8. Used in conjunction with the Eibach springs I was running on the OE shocks.

Currently running Setting 2 on the front and 3 rear.... certainly harder then OE.

They didn't look like this when I got them, as they tend not to put much paint on them at the factory.
Strange though as KYB supply the OE spec shocks on the Impreza and the paint seems to of lasted well on those. I guess the quality control is a bit better when supplying to large manufacturers...

Anyway, lots of primer, paint and laquer was applied so they should last a bit longer.

Wheel arches had also lost a bit of underseal, so some fresh underseal and a silver top coat was also applied.....

Pretty good, turn in and roundabouts are more fun now.
Quite hard and very glad they are adjustable, so glad I didn't go for fixed rate coilovers.

15 years ago I would of had them on the hardest setting, but not these days
