Loving the wide arches on the WR1,
If you go for a wide arch kit i take it there has to be some sort of wheel spacers or something so they don't sit in from the arch? |

Yep, not the ideal method though. Stock will be ok but any serious power then no. 9.5j with a 10 offset with 265 rubber maybe? |

Your car would look sooooooo cool wide arched. Leave the rest of the car just as it is.
9.5" wheels 20 o/s & 255's / 35 would fit !!. (That's what P2 is having). |

Would someone be up for photoshopping some wide arches on my Kompressor?

I can't make up my mine..
there is a lot of spraying needed doing to get it back up to 100% therefore if I was to change colour now would be the time to do it. it would remain green.. but I cannot decide whether to change or not.. I like the focus rs green but it is not easy to colour match apparently and is more likely to look carp. wondering about kawk green or just keep original colour. Simon |

I'm unsure on the RS Green, I think it works on the Focus, but I'm not so sure about in on other cars. Kwak green would get my vote!

but it is a bit of a decision!

I could have a word with Emma about the RS green. She works at Lifestyle Ford in Redhill
Both would suit your car. |
#43

Both would look fantastic mate, the rs green is pearlesant and would be quite hard to spray or repair, the kawk green is flat and would be easier to touch in and repair if you had any scratches or stone chips.

Staying peppermint now.

Would be away too long for you to go without 'playing' with it
Do like the peppermint colour |
#46
|
|||
|
|||
yes.
I think also the current colour is not far enough away from the desired new colour to warrent the time without it.. also some hassle as all new paint is water based which has other issues and need dehymidifiers etc.. the peppermint can be bought in the old style paint and much less hassle. Simon |

The finish with the new water based paint isn't that good im ny opinion. Very orange peel
|
#48
|
|||
|
|||
Agreed and if it gets a stone chip water washes the paint away the size of a 10p.
Check new bmws |

i cant believe some of the paint finishes on the new cars, like chunk said very orange peely, some are to the point they dont even have a proper reflection on them, it can be fixed though, you could pay a detailer or bodyshop to wet sand the clear coat and cut back smooth but even then its still not as good as the older paint finishes.
Glad you stuck with the peppermint mate, quality colour

Shouldn't have to doi all that work to a new car's paint. Should be a perfect finish with all the latest spraying equipment
