Default Ring time's

Who did what & in what car???? I will start with my first ever lap on the Ring with my 333bhp Bugeye on a tourist day. 11mins as my other half kept hitting me. When she stopped i then managed a best of 10mins at the end of 4 laps. Last year in the same car with approx 360bhp i managed 9min 15sec at the end of 6laps the 2nd lap on the Friday being the quicker lap. This year i managed 8min 20sec at the end of 5laps my 3rd lap being the quickest. I was chuffed with that until Neil showed me a 8min 11sec in my car when it was std. I know we should not time our selves out there as you have traffic to pass but it gives you an idea how your doing. I think me & Worzel blitzed the place on our wet lap with a stupendous time of 1/2 an hour.We could see cj ahead being passed by both the Ring taxi's going sideways.

Scratch that question.... timings are BTG, Bridge to Gantry. if it were the above it would be Gantry to Gantry.
The Bridge is on the straight a few hundred yards up from the entrance barriers (which is what I originally thought) and called Antoniusbuche.

Is that where you guy's took your timings from, as thats the point my video starts.

I had the one that felt faster for over half a lap, but then had a change of pants moment and calmed myself down

The list of new bits for next year has started already .............

Just did the one lap, so didnt time it, which was probably just as well, as most of you passed me at some point

However, next year, with an insured car, some brake pads with something left on them, coilovers and plenty of laps, it should be fun. Got what I wanted to out of it this year. Now I know what to expect, I will give it plenty next time.

Excellent Sure the suspension will made a massive difference.

I'm still keeping my eyes open for a set of 8pot ksports or something similar for next year. Then i'll be better off for doing other sessions at Brands as well

My first lap was actually my best at around 10.25, the second was a 10.30 something but then I was blocked in twice and did come off!

Not sure of my wet lap times but I have a feeling the one with Neil in the passenger seat was almost as fast as my dry laps!

Having someone on board who knows the place properly must make such a difference. Nige tried to give me directions on my 2nd wet lap, but still came out with "got a fast right coming up here.... oh wait, no its a tight one" after i'd decided not to brake much

cheers matey

Would love to, but in cyprus in august, new suspension, new brakes, so the chances of me getting there early are about the same as me scoring in this afternoons game.
