Clashes with Supercar Siege at Leeds Castle (Kent).
It's also the weekend before the Ring Trip, so a long drive for some (300 miles to/from Sussex), who are also clocking up 1,000 miles the following weekend.

Yep, for us it makes sense to do Supercar Siege as its far more local (like Silversurfer said) and its very popular with our members - both years we've had about 20-30 cars on our club stand

Interested to hear whether the queues were any better last year at Japfest....

Supercar siege is quite close to me. I'm already booked for japfest this year but I'll be going to Leeds castle next year.

That's funny, because I went in 2013 and the queues were okay. They obviously got complacent, which probably means 2015 should be good again.

That's because you get there at stupid-o-clock in the morning!

Like Banners, the last time I went to Japfest was in 2013 and the entry system was way better than previous years.

Two plus hours in a queue isn't acceptable, but the event involves a huge number of cars trying to get into a handful of entrances, so some waiting time is inevitable.

(Minor off topic: the current holder of the "worst queue to get in" award goes to the BHP Show at Lydden last year. It was an absolute free-for-all!).
