Default Bypassing lamba sensor

As above is there anyway to do it?

My engine management light kept coming on an it was a problem with the lamba. saw the price of a replacement and thought fook that so decided to clean it with a bit of carb cleaner, while i was at it i i gutted the under car cat as well.
the scobby runs even better now and sounds a little rumblier.
