Default JDL for bug kit.

Bought this for the bug. What do you think? Not fitted yet but wanted to see how it fitted and looked?

Once its painted I dont think it will be marmite. It seems to fit nicely and I think will blend in well.

Out of all the very few kits, grills etc... for the bug iwith this seemed to be the only one that i could find that gave it a bit more presence and subtlety at the same time.

Admittitly im not one for kits but i thought why not?

i think on its own it would look daft, but if you bought the whole kit then it should look ok once colour coded.

but its an aggressive looking stance, so i agree that the headlights need sorting (morettes would be best) as the standard ones just looks a bit nancy

100% agree steve about the headlights. Didnt want to go for morrettes.

Wanted to go for either uk 300/prodrive or sti headlights and an sti grill from HT autos? Also the bug ducts instead of the spots which (rich) dukeboy has!!

Thats kinda what i had in mind!!

Then if i pluck up enough courage....... the DC camo wrap

p.s i do have the rest of the kit

Painted and possibly blended it will look spot on I think especially with the skirts etc. to pull the rest of the car down.

How's the new MAF working out?

The photos of the white bug on the site are awesome, so once its painted up, i recon it would look good.

Difficult to judge from the pic with the white really standing out against the blue.

When its painted I think it will look a lot better than it does in the pics, agree with Andy WRX that perhaps painting the centre black or cutting out for front mount would look even better

Reason i went for it!! Makes the front a bit more fuller!!

Agreed about the front regarding the front mount! Not looking for power to warrent the FMIC so the paint option is a goodun

MAF is good mate, thanks just waiting for the 2nd for the mapping, Keeps throwing up faults all over place at mo, so not able to drive around too much, if at all.

Have you decided what you want to do with the spoiler yet?

I'm about ready to swap the boot over, I only need the lid, not the spoiler though so you can keep the WRX one and sell that on separately if you like (I got £50 for mine I think).

I'll pm you with an offer.
