Default Fast fiat 500 abarth essesse!

Different bit of car news!
My missus bought a fiat 500 abarth esseesse for her sins back in November, for those that don't know the esseesse model comes with koni shocks, different wheels, brembo's and an esseesse map.

Standard it is 160 bhp and 170 lbft in a car that weighs just over a ton, as you can imagine it is a lot of fun and pretty quick for a 1.4 turbo!
Then she started modding, bought a ragazzon cat back system and a gtt tuning induction kit.

Last week we took it to a place called proalfa in Watford who specialise in fiat and Alfa (hence the name) and actually race one of their alfa's which is the same 1.4 turbo engine running 300bhp!!

They fitted a decat and then mapped it, it made 173.5 bhp and 216.1 lbft just from putting the decat on which I thought was a great result, he then went on to tell us after he tweaked the map he managed to get 190.8 bhp and 251.9 lbft out of it which I couldn't believe.

The car is an absolute rocket and makes a lovely noise now on boost she's over the moon with it, just over a ton this little thing weighs and with all that power I'm glad it has 4 pot brembo's.

Here's the car all clayed polished and waxed and the graph, I still can't belive the power of the thing

I have a soft spot for little Fiats.

My first car was an Uno and I'm currently considering buying a Panda 100hp for daily commuting duties... looking at this, I like the idea of turbo charging a Panda.

Very nice but too much torque I would imagine in a light front drive if it's anything like my old remapped SEAT Leon.

It does have a lot of tourque and yes I agree in the wet it's probably a little pointless, but it is insane in the dry and your right robevo5 it is an absolute hoot to drive.

Well you know me Mr luck I like to have a nice drive now and again sticking within the law of course

Wow! We went to piazza italia car meet in horsham yesterday which was brilliant, they had the biposto there in grey all carbon door panels and exterior trims, no rear seats just front buckets with racing harnesses.
We spec'd up that exact car when we got home and it came out at £50,000 give or take which includes the dog ring gearbox (£8,500).
Now looking at that for £31,000 is a hell of a lot of money for a fiat but makes the biposto look very expensive!!
Waste of power that if you ask me, you just won't get it down
