Give us an idea of budget and what you want to use the car for an I'm sure people can devise, also what plan for mods etc?

Just go for a standard unmolested STI and keep it standard, apart from may be a suspension upgrade ie. bigger ARB WR1 comes to mind.

Agree with 'E' wr1 is a good choice for an all round performer or perhaps RB320 of you want another hawk.
Depends on what takes your fancy shape wise really. There's a few nice P1's for sale if you fancy a classic. |

I like the look of hawkeyes but I'm not fussed really just want that burble back. Looking at 5-7k money wise at most . I want a good model to give me a good base for mods. Also what is considered low mileage for a scoob

Also what is considered high mileage for one as well as don't wanna be spending a fortune on repairing it

Shame about your one mate. As above get a niced clean STI, and then work from there. Ive still not touched my engine really, worked on handling and stopping power.
Try and find a White STI Bug...

I'd also say start with a STi, better base with stronger engine, better brakes etc
Don't take this the wrong way but if you do get another scooby maybe get some driver tuition at a track day and hopefully I won't have to give you a lift home again lol

How about mine? A little more than yo wan to spend but it is an STI & a bloody good one. I've just had a full service done no more than 30 miles ago. All belts inc t belt & tentioners. Gearbox & diff oils done. Taxed & tested. Std car apart from exhaust & Silversurfer tweaked the map. Car made 350bhp & 375ftlb torque. £8500
