Default Rear strut brace (pink) new age STI

Does anyone have a rear pink strut brace fitted to a new age STI import? trying to fit mine now and it is a right pain in the arse! its a really ****e fit the pink struts dont fit through the holes. I'm convinced its not the right one- ordered it from scooby parts and think they've sent me the wrong one.
Don't suppose anyone can provide me with any guidance lol

Thanks
Matt
