Question cable/s

Hopefully someone can help.
im a little confused. As you're all aware i have a few car issues.
some are known and some aren't.

Can anyone tell me whether i am supposed to have 2 cables attached to my throttle?

Thanks for clearing that up. I have 1 cable and its attached closest to inlet. Is that right?

Sounds correct, second position is for cruise control
