Default 2012 Ring Sticker & Tag Stencil

Right, after different attempts and versions. I have got the stickers sorted for the trip this year. I have also had the Ring Tag Stencil made up.

The Tag Stencil is below, to give you an idea what it's all about, the Pigs Head will be 8-9ft high, with the lettering pro'd up as the file. I am ordering proper tarmac paint for this, the stencil will be used with some good old fashioned chalk to mark out initially and then paint it in by hand. It's going to be a bit of a job but ultimately worth it in the end.

The stickers are as below, the sticker size is 210mm x 150mm. I will be getting 100 done, so there is enough for 2 each.

Looks good mate, Where were you thinking of stenciling?

(Need somewhere accessable, with space on the road..).

And I own NVG's (Who says video games aren't useful...), perfect sneaking around in the woods...

Mate, he's going to cop it big time.

With regards the tag, we found a spot near the GT5 tag on the track. Not much tagged there

hahah, that made me properly laugh. Sorry Nige

I remember seeing the GT5 logo somewhere, was it on the exit of Bergwerk? Obviously, for such a large tag, its doubly-important that its off the racing line through the corner - no biker wants to come across slippery paint in the wet, and it will last a lot longer off line too

Yes Steve, offline Is a must! Plenty of room where we are going, so not a problem! The good thing is as well, it's proper Tarmac paint I'm getting, so non slip! Wants to be at over £100 per tin :zoiks:

The cleaner looking one? Sorry chaps, you have lost me?

They are being printed now.

Is it a case of you are seeing a green / blue versions, hence the reason Ron Posted a second version? That's where the file is CMYK for printing and some PC / I-Pad & Phones make them look blue and green. Due to converting to RGB.

Just so you can see the difference.

Top one is RGB and the bottom one CMYK

RGB

CMYK

When you look on my PC for instance they are both "Proper" Union Jacks.

But I remember having this issue once before.

Exactly that principle

If we apply the same RGB conversion to another vehicle picked at random:
Standard CMYK=

Then if we apply the RGB conversion, you get a truer version of the picture....

RGB Converted=

Ahhhh, I see what you mean now Ian. It's meant to look like that.

It's a "Grunge" version of a Union flag.

Think more along the lines of Cold War Chemical Warfare Suits at least

Even better mate and inherently much better, something Special Services from "Black Ops" (or in your case "Special Needs from Brown Ops"), it's your only chance.

I have had to just do the pigs head, it would just be so difficult to cut out and get there in one piece with text too.

I'm sure we can maybe double up on the pigs head!
