Default New to blue Subarus

Hey everyone. Joined the Subaru experience back in September with the lovely 2017 STI. Barring first couple of weeks it has been nothing but smiles and joy to drive it. And can't forget the Subaru wave as well
I'm based in Kent, attended last 2 Surrey Scoobies meets. Loved the chat and cars as well.
Unfortunatelly I won't be able to make it to South East Scoobies meet this Sunday (is it?), but will try to make it to other events for sure
Now if you don't mind, here she is:

Thanks, a lot more still to come, less subtle as well
Though already have less than subtle exhaust, but I'll stay quiet about it and try to get used to it

Lovely car there, and welcome to SES

Was flicking through your album and noticed you've been down this neck of the woods (i grew up a mile or so from Jack & Jill windmill and still only 5 mins away.

Plenty of nice mods in a short space of time

http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/store/...cat=286&page=1

You can see its pricey, BUT its bespoke design, you email the guys over there before order, tell them exact model, then select all the right selections on order page and 4 weeks later nice bag comes in.
It takes 4 weeks due to them making it specifically for your car dimensions.

Yes, warm welcome nice to see another latest gen STI - have they given this style a nickname yet?

Also the best colour of course, even if the steering wheel is on the wrong side

Thanks for the welcome.
I heard some call it Evo eyes
And i agree with wrong sided steering wheel. Keeps me hesitant to visit continental Europe
And blue color is not standard in UK. It comes as an extra.

You get used to it and if you've never driven a UK car on the continent always good to have someone with you the first few times.

Really!? I actually wanted a black one, but it was going to be an extra 4 month wait and €1000 more, so when they told me they had a WR blue in stock I was happy enough to get it. I'm not disappointed.

I've driven in Europe before but with left hand drive cars. My coordination skills are not the best so i might get confused once in a while
My blue option was only £500 so i didn't hesitate. That was my only requirement for the car as i was late for September delivery batch.

Getting confused once in a while is par-for-the-course, it's not easy overcoming basic instincts you build up over time. One of the reasons I gave up the UK car I had back home for a runaround when I flew back, as it only helped to muddy things further.
