Rye mini drag strip

Hi guys talking to a mate tonight he mentioned that he s been to rye mini drag strip and had a great time.there are plans to make it to 1/8 of a mile which should be good.

Anyone else been or thinking of going ??

Or how about a scooby day down there??

I hadnt till tonight. ive seen a trailer from there and think i saw brad wrx for a second!

It's tiny. Like 2nd into 3rd shut off. Will be okay when larger but atm just to small for 200bhp plus stuff. Good on them for doing it tho. And when larger could be a good bit of fun. Or could use it for getting your starts sets up/practise before pod.

Just reading on another forum this is on for May Bank Holiday 24th. Drag event - if you've tax n test and road tyres the strip is open for you to have a thrash

Its organised by a fella called John,owns Rye bay Coachworks,and has been doing these mini Drag days for a while now,but I had stopped going as the area around the strip is quite gritty,as found mtyScooby to have suffered a few marks and chips due to the dust,but a great day all the same x x

yes ricer you did see me, I have a video some where of me attempting to stop after getting into to third, never again.....
