Coping with the hot weather

So how is everyone coping with the extreme heat? Here in France we are having our hottest day ever,we are in the low 40s. Fortunately our farmhouse has 18" thick walls and like most french houses you can pull the shutters and open the windows,they open inwards. Sitting indoors watching the Tour de France with a cold beer.

Air conditioned office, air conditioned car (although the black leather takes a little cooling down) and sleeping with the windows and curtains open, not a problem so far. If i was working outside I'd probably have a different view on life.

Agree black leather does heat up nicely, aircon in the Scooby is superb. Pretty crap in the Wife's Renault Captur. France on red alert today,all hospital leave cancelled.

Air con ha that's for girls, iv been cooking on site fitting windows in the dierect sun so I'm dripping wet and fill like ****.

Way to hot for doing that today wish I was in a air con office bit jealous right now.

I've just finished a pre-season rugby session... it's fair to say, it wasn't the most pleasant experience of my life.

I did detect a small amount of friction when moving my mouse today and the gas in my swivel chair may of been slightly effected.
But the stroll accross the office to get a jaffa cake wasnt to bad and the A/C was doing a great job at stopping the chocolate melting.

I must venture outside the next time i hear the tinkle of the ice cream van.

People are now moaning that it's too cold because of the air con in the office.... what a bunch of ****s!
