Default Would you of fitted this to your car.

I purchased this off someone a while ago (3 years) when they decided to break their car up and I knew mine would let go eventually so a couple of years later mine started to slip and I went to put the replacement on.
The seller said it had done little wear and tear as hasn't been on the car long a helix uprated clutch and lightened billet fly wheel.

Here are pictures of the clutch and fly wheel.

Clutch

And fly wheel.

When mechanic went to fit he said it was in worse condition to what I had on the car originally. So ended up buying new..

Just want your thoughts please guys thanks.

To be honest something like a clutch and flywheel I would always buy new. It would be like buying a second hand cambelt kit...

Never trust someones opinion on a product they are selling unless they are trusted or known by someone you know. They will alway be biased.

I understand what you are saying. I knew the fella that broke the car and he assured me that it had little use and as he was a friend I had no reason to doubt him and thought I had a bargain.

I sold a clutch which when new owner looked at it they said it was worn more than they expected with the mileage it had done (I must have heavy feet) so I just refunded them and took the clutch back and those pictures make mine look like new lol

Why did they not just refund you?

Simon
