Re: painting bits
plastic primer, laqure(spellin?) and plenty of wet and dry paper
i tried some halfords paint, its only as good as the person mixin it, i had 2 cans mixed by same person at same time and they were completly different colours |

how weird!! where is a good place to get paint from?? so im guessing you paint the part then lacquer it, but wet and dry???? why do you use that???

Re: painting bits
cause you wont get a smooth finish out of a can like you do with a spray gun, so it will look awfull like orange peel, so you use like a 1000 or 1200 wet and dry to smooth it to one level then polish it back up

Re: painting bits
want a few cause your be sanding some away, same with the clear coat, or you could prob get away with just doing it with the clear coat and then polish it back up, trial and error is the way i learnt

Re: painting bits
If your not sure on what type of finish you'll get or how it will turn out find something of a similar grade plastic and practise first!
