Default Finally time to mapping the sti

Hi guys.

Happy new year to all.
I'm now looking to get the sti mapped this month but thought I'd just ask a few questions before I do it as don't want to waste time and money if I've missed anything that I should do before mapping.

The car is 02 sti UK.
My aim is for above 350 hp and a good fast road car for odd track day or sprint.
I've had the car serviced and is running nice atm
Just ordered a new nps switch as heard people having mapping issues with this switch on the avcs heads. So taken that chance out.
Car isn't modded that much at all.
Current spec is,
Rcm headers and venturi up pipe
3inch decatted system miltek
Ppp pump
Cosworth panel filter
Samco intake pipe
Hks ssqv

And current poor mapping from powerstation on ecutek 1.35bar tailings to 1.1bar

My current thoughts are mapping to 1.5bar drop to 1.4 or just straight up 1.45bar whole way threw.

But this is where I become puzzled at what point do my injectors max. Are mine 550 or 565? If not is it worth getting the 565?
Plugs??
Fuel reg?
Is the vf35 likly to make my target? Or should I look at another is so how much work would it take to make it a 380+hp etc.
Sorry for all the questions I just need to know so can either book the mapping or know to get some more bits 1st.
Also one last open source of ecutek?? Will either be Neil or Simon mapping as both same price for road mapp

Thanks guys. Sure Scott or cj be able to put me in the right direction

If fuel pump more than a few years old, play safe and get a new 255lph one.

Also put a couple hundred quid to one side just in case your MAF isn't working fully.

Injectors I believe are 550 and should be good for upto about 380bhp, going to 565 probably not worth the hassle, i'd look at increasing fuel pressure slightly if injectors are maxing out, though I think the vf35 will struggle to go that far, maybe a 20G will be better.

I used the original 2 port solenoid, but did change plugs to 7's.

Pinks are 565's which are standard in sti's
No real need for a after market reg with a standard turbo .
Pump I'd take one with you and if needed change then or do in advance it's an un known till being mapped .
Simon had started keeping one in stock so may be able to supply

As CJ has said, you should be ok as is but likely issues to be picked up when mapping are fuel pump and solenoid.
