seat belts
Hey, I have a problem n need some help please. One of my rear seat belts does not retract all the way and I'm worried about the safety of my children using it.
I asked at the Gatwick group what the issue may be and the price. They said it's a big job and the part is £220. I nearly fainted lol. Can any one else give me other options or advice please? Thank you x |

not sure if you can repair a seatbelt that goes like that, have had the issue before, but possibly easiest is get one from one of the specialist breakers on Scoobynet or depending on price, maybe try jap performance.

Try Richard at east Kent Subaru (Canterbury)... He's on here as well - sure he would have a rear belt he could sell you - then it's just bolt in job

as above theyre easilly replaced, and reasonably cheap second hand, just check condition of the belt before having it fitted.

quite often if its mis-aligned or slightly "trapped" in some way its simply a case of dismantling the trim, etc. and sorting.........

Not sure where the rears are mounted, could just be a case of removing the back seat or it could be in the boot behind the trim. If it's behind the back seat it's a few 12mm and 14mm bolts to access and guessing a single Bolt to remove.
