Default Estate ecu or saloon ecu !!!!!!!
Hello guys I've got a 94 import wrx estate and I've heard that the import saloon ecu gives 260 bhp set up as apposed to the 240 of the estate version is this true and is it easier to tune and what ecu is the right one thankyou , I will absorb ur knowledge 

A 94 Wagon (Estate) ECU will be configured to 220ps for the TD04 Turbo
A 94 WRX Saloon ECU will be configured for 240ps for the larger TD05 Turbo or 260ps is post Sept 94.

You cannot swap ECU due to the different turbo setup. many have though fitted the larger TD05 turbo and corresponding ECU.
