Same as that mate. I was unsure about the colour to begin with, but the more I see it, the more I like it. Especially with the white 18's on it

RAR came 2nd to a Bexhill horseless carriage. If you understood like what i do to the guy driving the MR300 evo not only was he down on power by 50bhp to the rar but in his own words said they have fitted wet's to his car & they over heated!

I was under the impression they only made these in yellow, but after some web browsing...
Now we have no excuses for not going out and buying one! (I think I might have found my backbox as well! ) |

I know i hate to lose. I thought Spec C's were approx 320/330bhp & RAR 340/350 bhp ? I do know that Evo was only a 300. Anyway it got beat good & proper. Last edited by Nige; 27-01-2011 at 03:06 PM. |

I would have liked to have seen the RA R & NSX on their own, starting side by side on the grid.
When you consider the RA R is at the back of the grid and the NSX is in 2nd on the grid. That would have been interesting for sure. As said in this thread though, the lack of a GTR is obvious. That would have been really interesting. |

The RA-R is quoted as 320 BHP/432 NM (which I think it about 318 Ft. Lbs.).

Now watch this... (Race starts at 29:50). The GT-R puts in a 1:02.125 on the same circuit (I appreciate that there is a different driver, track conditions and the like). Even excluding these factors though, the GT-R has to be at least a couple of seconds a lap faster. Back when all the JDM stuff was on relatively equal footing I think putting an older GTR in there would be an interesting comparison, but with the current GT-R I think it would be a forgone conclusion... ...in my opinion anyway! |

Good find
It goes to show just how quick the "Datsun" is. One good thing is how close the RA R comes to the Porsche Turbo & GT3, and the RA R was on a damp track. |
