Default So... my clutch...

... is getting close to popping its clogs. Floored it in second earlier and although the noise was awesome, it really didn't get me anywhere. Kind of like a corsa with a big exhaust if you catch my meaning. Aaaaaanyway, i don't want to spend a fortune and seeing that i'm not running much more power than standard, whats gonna be my best bet? Any ideas on make of clutch, price and fitting would be muchos gracias!

Make sure you shop around, mine went 3 days after getting the car, and the Warrenty company said its not covered as its a part that wears ( i didnt really understand as everything really wears...)

Phoned my local Subaru dealer, they said £1000 straight away, I allmost passed out. Was going to Scotland the following week to see family, phoned a dealer up there, and £480..for the same part!

If you dont want to use a dealer, give James at GRD a call, he offered me a uprated clutch for a decent price, but couldnt get the car over to get it done.

I'm running an OE Spec ADL Blueprint clutch and 335BHP/310ftlb.
Slightly cheaper then a Subaru part but a bit more then a Borg&Beck.
Been in car now for 5+ years & 30,000mile, all with 270+BHP

I think the clutch was about £250 + fitting.
Was a few years agio and was a new not remanufactured units.

Excedy are also a good clutch, but seem to have so many variations.
